The members of the Warbasse Department of Public Safety are committed to delivering quality services in response to our community's diverse needs. We recognize our responsibility to protect life and property, prevent crime, enforce laws and improve the quality of life for all residents of the community. The security chief is responsible for the protection of Warbasse buildings and grounds as well as the safety of cooperators. The security chief heads a force that is carefully screened and certified by the State of New York as Special Patrolmen. They have the legal authority to perform arrests and issue summonses. Special Patrolmen are regularly provided with up-to-date, in service training on police and legal practices, fire safety, health procedures, and emergency evacuations.
